The Builders Insurance Broker
This is a specialist building insurance division commenced by Don Hutton who has held NSW Building Licence No. 24548 since 1976 and has had practical experience in domestic construction, renovation and building of medium density projects.
His experience of having been ‘down the holes and up the ladders’ gives him a thorough insight into the insurance problems confronting today’s builders. To his knowledge he is the only fully licenced Insurance Broker in Australia to hold a current Building Contractors Licence. Don Hutton is also a Member of The Master Builders Association.
Martin White has headed up this experienced Builders Insurance Department since 1998. His practical knowledge of obtaining Builders Construction and Builders Warranty Insurances for our clients, quickly and efficiently, enables him to obtain cover at the most reasonable pricing available with first class Australian Underwriters.
His motto is ‘do it now’ and he has had many recommendations due to his prompt service. He has saved Builders many thousands of dollars in insurance costs and the flow-on interest costs in commencing projects quickly
Contract Works and Liability Policies can be arranged same day or within twenty-four (24) hours in most cases.
Builders Warranty - Eligibility Applications are generally arranged within one (1) to three (3) working days from receipt of the builder’s information. Eligibility is granted for a twelve (12) month period and Warranty Certificates can then be issued at anytime, usually in twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours.
